Luth, Bud Jackson, Scott Chase, and I replaced the broken deck on the
bridge behind the school and leveled it up. We are getting closer
to riding! 25 degrees when we started in the AM!!! - Jim Strickland
to David Howard, Jason Fulton, Gus Merwin, Thom Chase, Bud Jackson,
Alex Chase, Mark Luth, and Joe Baril we have replaced the Wirkala
Bridge on 392 in Lempster and the Whittemore Brook Bridge on 393 on the
Baine Rd. We have one more bridge to jack up and lot's of
washouts to deal with - and then we will be ready for SNOW!!! Jim
have some trail work to do from the July 2 storm. Bucky's bridge
has already been jacked up and the approach filled in. In
addition to bridge repairs and replacements, we need to check trails in
your area. The blow down on the Bean Mtn Trail took me two hours
to clear so the groomer can get through. To report trail damage
and/or volunteer to assist, please contact Jim Strickland.
Members of the Hidden Valley Sno Riders met at Jim and Pat's for the annual members meeting.
were shared of all the riding we did this year. We enjoyed good
snow most of this year. Following a delicious pot-luck dinner,
Bud Jackson and Scott Chase were elected directors for three more
years. After the members meeting, the directors met to elect
officers for the upcoming year: Gus Merwin as President, Mark
Luth as Vice President, and Scott Chase as Treasurer. No one
volunteered for secretary. Jim Strickland will be acting until we
can find someone to serve.
